Each year over 200,00 people in the UK suffer a heart attack. When someone’s heart stops pumping death can occur in just a few minutes. But with only two hours’ training you could help them stay alive until professional help arrives.
The trained person can recognise what has happened, call for professional help and perform CPR to buy the casualty time.
Heartstart courses are available free of charge to interested parties in the community
and can be arranged at a convenient time upon request. Typical course duration is
2 hours for up to 10-

Course delivery is regulated by South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Trust (SECAmb) and British Heart Foundation (BHF).
